MyWrntee ("the App") is developed by Michael Jansen. This privacy policy explains how the App handles your data.

Data You Provide

The App allows you to store warranty information including:

• Product names, companies, and purchase details
• Warranty dates and notes
• Receipt photos and product images
• Custom groups for organizing items

Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly enable iCloud Sync.

iCloud Sync (Optional)

If you enable iCloud Sync in Settings, your warranty data is synced across your devices using Apple's CloudKit service. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. The developer does not have access to your iCloud data.

Camera and Photo Library

The App requests camera access to scan receipts and capture product photos. Photos are stored locally on your device (and in iCloud if sync is enabled). The App does not upload photos to any external server.

Data Collection

The App does not:

• Collect personal information
• Use analytics or tracking services
• Share data with third parties
• Display advertisements
• Require an account or login

In-App Purchases

The App offers optional tip jar purchases processed by Apple. These transactions are handled entirely by Apple's App Store and the developer does not receive any personal payment information.

Data Export and Deletion

You can export your data at any time via Settings > Export Data (CSV or PDF). You can delete all data via Settings > Delete All Data. Uninstalling the App also removes all locally stored data.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
